Job Description – Rocky Mountain Region

Columbine Logging,Inc., a Denver based well-site geology company since 1980 is hiring experienced geosteerers and well-site geologists for drilling projects in the Rocky Mountain States: CO, WY, MT, ND, UT, NE, KS, and, NM.   Wehaveoperations and offices located in Denver, CO andDickinson, ND.


Our geologists are deployed anywhere in the Rocky Mountain region, so they must live in this area. This is a demanding position, requiring a unique combination of technical, mechanical, and interpersonal skills along with having a dependable vehicle and a clean driving record.It also requires a flexible schedule,since the time on each job is unpredictable and can vary, based on the time for the exploration company to complete the drilling of the well.

A B.S. orB.A. or higher degree in geology is required for this position.In addition, proficient computer, mechanical, and adequate electrical skills are required to create the geological log and to keep all the monitoring instrumentation, collection equipment functioning during the well drilling process. Our operational model is very efficient with state of art, very dependable instruments that we test, calibrate, maintain and support internally 24*7.
